<div itemprop="description">JOHNSON...... <br> <br>Orrin Douglas “Sam” Johnson, age 81, of Greenfield, Hants County, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016, at home, surrounded by his family. <br> <br>Born on May 9, 1935, in Centre Rawdon, Hants County, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Orrin I. and Marion Marjorie (Mitchell) Johnson. <br> <br>Sam lived all his adult life in Greenfield, and was a member of St. Pauls’ Anglican Church. He was employed at Fundy Gypsum Company for over 41 years, having worked at all three plants, Hantsport, Windsor and Miller’s Creek, retiring in 2000. <br> <br>Sam is survived by his wife of 60 years, the former Barbara Jean Robertson; son, Glenn, Garlands Crossing; grandson, Fraser Cochrane (Katie), Berwick; sisters, Dorothy (Victor) Page, Hantsport; Marion (Donald) Lane, Mosherville; Kathleen (Graham) Greenough, Woodville; brothers, Eric (Betty), Windsor; Gary (Hazel), Penticton, BC; several nieces and nephews. <br> <br>Besides his parents, he was predeceased by son, Blaine; sisters, Ann Beckerleg and Janet Campbell; brothers, Atwood and Phillip. <br> <br>The family wish to express their sincere thanks to the Colchester-East Hants VON and Palliative Care Unit, and Tina Crowell for her help over the last few months. <br> <br>There will be no visitation or reception by request. <br> <br>Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2016, in St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Centre Rawdon, with the Rev. Carson Baxter officiating. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery. <br> <br>Donations may be made to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Centre Rawdon or a charity of your choice. <br> <br>Arrangement are under the care of Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home (902-798-2232), P.O.
