<div itemprop="description">DUNBRACK...... <br> <br>Mary “Eleanor” Dunbrack, age 84, of Windsor, Hants County, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in the Q.E. II, Halifax Infirmary, surrounded by loved ones. <br> <br>Born in Windsor, Hants County, Nova Scotia, on September 6, 1932, Eleanor was the daughter of the late William H.F. Spence and Mary Anne Comeau-Spence-Cooper. <br> <br>She was a graduate of the Kay Anslow’s School of Business in 1951 and worked in Halifax and Ottawa as a private secretary for over 25 years. <br> <br>She is survived by her daughter Dianne (Brian) Hawkins, Fredericton, NB; granddaughter, Michelle (Robert) Amero, Bedford; great grandsons, Connor Roy, Logan William, and Elliot Robert Amero, Bedford; sisters, Mona Shortt and Rose Hodder, Windsor; brother, Barry (Judith) Spence, Russia; sister-in-law, Doris Sexton, Windsor; brother-in-law, Stewart Dunbrack, New Minas; and several special nieces and nephews. <br> <br>She was predeceased by her cherished husband, Roy Allan Dunbrack (1992); brothers, David Spence and Norman Comeau; nieces, Cassandra Swinamer, Sheri Hodder, Kimberly Ann Hodder, and Barbara Ann Power; nephew, David Roy Dunbrack; brothers-in-law Neil, Donald, and Richard Dunbrack. <br> <br>She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Eleanor had a special place in her heart for her three great grandsons “Nan’s boys”. She will be fondly remembered as someone who cared deeply for others and volunteered her time freely. She was a member of Windsor United Church, a former driver for Meals on Wheels, a member of the Gliders club, and enjoyed many trips with the Happy Wanderers tours. <br> <br>In keeping with Eleanor’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King St., P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, NS, B0N 2T0 <br> <br>A private burial will take place at a later date, in the Ste.
