<div itemprop="description">Olin &ldquo;Olie&rdquo; Christopher Aker, 89, of Windsor, Hants County, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, August 9, 2015 in the Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born on January 24, 1926 in Windsor, he was the son of the late Harry and Annie (Graham) Aker. <br /> <br />Olie was a retired automotive technician having worked with Stephens &amp; Yeaton Ltd. and R.D. Holmes Ltd. <br /> <br />Survived by his sons, Harry Barrett &ldquo;Barry&rdquo; Aker, Windsor; Olin &ldquo;Christopher&rdquo; Aker Jr.( Gail Cumben), Windsor; daughters, Gail (Derrick) Campbell, Whitby, Ontario; Marsha (Rick) Millard, Frankford,Ontario; Shelley (Stirling) Currie, Windsor; Lorna (Ron) Veinot, Kentville; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; Roberta&rsquo;s children, Steven (Jane) Roberts, Halifax and Ronnie Roberts, Wolfville; also his former wife and mother of his six children, Anita (Ditmars) Aker. <br /> <br />He was predeceased by his partner, Roberta &ldquo;Berta&rdquo; Hergett; sister, Dorothy &ldquo;Dolly&rdquo; Harvey; several half-brothers and half-sisters. <br /> <br />There will be no visitation by request. <br /> <br />A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2015 in Lindsay&rsquo;s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel (1-902-798-2232), 194 King Street, Windsor.
