<div itemprop="description">JARVIS...... <br> <br>Lois Arden “Timbit” Jarvis, age 84, of Falmouth, Hants County, formerly of Avondale, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016, in the Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth. Born on September 28, 1932 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Henry and Jessie (Barker) MacDow. <br> <br>Lois enjoyed dancing, music, and making people laugh. She loved her family. <br> <br>Surviving are her daughter, Joanna “Joanne” (Chris) Foley, Windsor; sons, Larry Jarvis, Hantsport; Leslie Jarvis ( Paula Stevenson), Avondale; Edward Jarvis (Tammy Feltham), Mosherville; grandchildren, Jamie Jarvis, Reena Jarvis, Brittany Stevenson; Samantha Jarvis and Katelyn Jarvis; step-grandchildren, Christopher Foley and Tiffany Vander-Heide; great grandchildren, Thomas and Collin Peach; Jacob and Joseph Jarvis; sisters, Joyce Richardson, Ruby Johnson, Evelyn Oakley, Noreen Pottie, Bernice (Granville) Maxwell; brothers, Gordon (Sherry) MacDow, Leonard (Karen) MacDow, Earl MacDow. <br> <br>Predeceased by her husband, Harry “Lester” Jarvis (1987); brothers, Donald and Harold; sister, Dot Derlego. <br> <br>Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016, with funeral to follow at 2 pm both in the Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home (902-798-2232), 194 King Street, Box 2218, Windsor, NS, B0N 2T0, with the Rev. Garnet Parker officiating.
