<div itemprop="description">FLYNN...... <br /> <br />Kathleen Charlotte &ldquo;Kay&rdquo; Flynn, age 74, of Ellershouse, Hants County, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, with her family by her side. <br /> <br />Born on September 25, 1941, in Windsor, Hants County, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Dunbar) Bentley and Edward Meisner. <br /> <br />Kay for many years, operated the Canteen&rsquo;s at the Newport Rink, Brooklyn and also at the Ste. Croix Ball Field. She loved to cook and share her cooking with the neighbourhood and in particularly at the Ellershouse Hall. She formerly worked at the Nova Scotia Textiles. Kay loved and enjoyed spending time with her family and all the grandchildren. <br /> <br />Kay is survived by her children, Kathryn (Laurie) Swinamer, Alberta; Krista Morse (Randell Crossley), Falmouth; Karen (Stephen) Church, Vaughans; Gordie Flynn (Lacey Swinamer), Three Mile Plains; her grandchildren, Christopher Forbes; Tara Jerome; Matthew Parker; Falicia Kaulbach; Troy Church; Blair Church; Emily Church; Kayla Swinamer; Adam Swinamer; Shaylena Boyce; Nicholas Boyce; great grandchildren, Randi Thiessen; Zoe Thiessen; Sadie Kaulbach; and baby Church on the way; sisters, Ellen (Harold) Hunt, Wolfville; Vera Bentley, Windsor; Elizabeth (John) Boomgaars, Steam Mill; Diane (Doris) Fava, Keswick, Ontario; brothers, Douglas Bentley, New Minas; Lawrence (Linda) Meisner, Napean, Ontario; Arnold Meisner, East Stewiacke. <br /> <br />Besides her parents, Mary (Dunbar) Bentley and Edward Meisner; she was predeceased by her husband, Earl Wayne Flynn (1998); brothers, Michael Meisner and Stuart Bentley. <br /> <br />Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2016, in Lindsay&rsquo;s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, B0N 2T0. <br /> <br />Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2016, in Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Krista Anderson and Rev. Ellen Hunt officiating.
