<div itemprop="description">JOHNSON...... <br> <br>Johnson, Jessie Rosann "Toots", age 90, of Kentville, Kings County, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at her home, surrounded by her large family. <br> <br>Born on December 1, 1925, in Three Mile Plains, Hants County, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Maude (States) Hamilton. <br> <br>Jessie was a homemaker, and enjoyed dancing, nights at the legion, caring on, laughing, and was a happy caring person. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her. <br> <br>Jessie is survived by her sons, Bruce “Mansey” Hamilton, Newport Station; Roland Johnson Jr. (Annie), Montreal, Quebec; Cecil (Linda) Johnson, Newport Station; Ernest (Annette) Johnson, Toronto, Ontario; daughters, Catherine Dulall, Toronto, Ontario; Charlene Johnson (Wayne Baker), Digby; Cheree Johnson (Neil Varner), Kentville; Phyllis Johnson, Montreal, Quebec; Susan (James "Jake") States, Newport Station; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jessie is also survived by sisters, Lotricia "Tessie" Chambers, Boston, Mass.; Yvonne "Dimples" (Freddie) States, Newport Station; Patricia (Hugh) Blake, Toronto, Ontario; Betty Hamilton, Toronto, Ontario; brothers, Amos Hamilton, Montreal, Quebec; Eugene (Carol) Hamilton, Toronto, Ontario. <br> <br>Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Roland St. Clair Johnson; son, Andrew Johnson; daughter, Rosie Johnson; brothers, James and June Hamilton; sister, Dela "Dolly" States. <br> <br>Visitation will be held 6-9 p.m. Monday, September 12, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home (902-798-2232), 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, NS, B0N 2T0. <br> <br>Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2016, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Galvin Simmonds officiating, followed by a reception and then interment in Maplewood Cemetery, 1186 King Street, Windsor. <br> <br>Add your condolences, click on contribute. <br> <br> <br></div>
