<div itemprop="description">BOYD...... <br /> <br />Elizabeth Louise &ldquo;Betty&rdquo; Boyd, age 86, of Three Mile Plains, Hants County, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. <br /> <br />Born on March 10, 1930 in Garlands Crossing, Hants County, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dora (Brown) MacDonald. <br /> <br />Betty and Clarence enjoyed going to the horse shows. She enjoyed her family and was well known for her baking which many family and community members enjoyed. <br /> <br />Surviving are daughters, Dianne Boyd, Dartmouth; Elaine Boyd (Garry Darris), New Minas; Doralee (David) Amos, East Lawrencetown; daughter-in-law, Christine Burbidge-Boyd, Lacombe, Alberta; grandchildren, Kimberley, Kelly, Kandace, Paul, Elizabeth, and Darcy; great grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Max, Sawyer, Nathaniel, Heidi, Clara, Ethan, Breah, Elaina, and Haidyn; sisters, Carole Greeno, Garlands Crossing; Phyllis (Neil) Sharp, Thorold, Ontario; sister-in-law, Eva MacDonald, Dartmouth; several nieces and nephews; special family member, Dan Boyd. <br /> <br />Besides her parents, Betty was predeceased by her husband, Clarence &ldquo;Obe&rdquo; (September 3, 2014); sons, Wayne and Stephen; brother, Joseph &ldquo;Joe or Grady&rdquo;; sisters, Leona Maxmenko, Ruby Kehoe and Darryle Shay. <br /> <br />A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2016 in Windsor Forks Community Cemetery.
