<div itemprop="description">THYNNE...... <br /> <br />Eldon Vance Michael Thynne, age 61, of Wellington, Halifax County, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015, at home. <br /> <br />Born on July 13, 1954, in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, he was the son of Susan (Scanlon) Thynne, of Wellington and the late Robert Eldon Thynne. <br /> <br />Eldon spent his childhood in Fairview, later in Wellington, then moved to the Annapolis Valley to raise his family, of whom he was very proud. He then returned to the Halifax area where he was close to his parents and siblings. He enjoyed working as a professional driver for many years. Eldon was extremely compassionate of others in need, caring and kind. <br /> <br />Besides his mother, he is survived by his children, Jodie (Evan) Hambrook, Moncton; Vance Kyler Thynne (Martin Poirier), Moncton; and their mother, Kathryn; grandchildren, Cole Denton Hambrook and Rian Hambrook; sisters and brothers, Mary-Louise Orichefsky, Robert, Linda Frandsen, Reta Smith (Merlyn Goodine), Ricky (Kimberly), John, Neil, and Dorothy (Wayne) Stevens, who all live in the Halifax Regional Municipality; numerous nieces and nephews. <br /> <br />Besides his father, he was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Joseph Orichefsky; and nieces, Renee Lee and Danielle Orichefsky. <br /> <br />Arrangement are under the care of Lindsay&rsquo;s Windsor Funeral Home (902-798-2232), 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, B0N 2T0. <br /> <br />Visitation will be held 6-9 pm Sunday, November 8, in St. Bernard&rsquo;s Roman Catholic Church, Enfield, where funeral mass will be at 11 am Monday, November 9, 2015, with Father Michael Walsh officiating.
