<div itemprop="description">David Bruce Duggan, 79, of Windsor, Hants County passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, September 2, 2016 in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on November 4, 1936 in Tufts Cove. He was the son of the late Edward and Edna (Robinson) Duggan. <br> <br>David served in the Royal Canadian Regiment in the military until his retirement. After retiring from the military he served with the Corps of Commissionaires and fully retired in 1991. <br> <br>Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Isabelle MacDonald; daughters, Margaret “Peggy” MacKay, Cold Lake , Alberta; Karen Rector, Davenport, Iowa; son, David Duggan, Halifax; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Niles (Beverly), St. Albert, Alberta; sisters, Carmel Bell, Whitby, Ontario; Faith Steadman, Bowmanville, Ontario; step-sister, Sheila Shellnut, Halifax; step-brother, Kenneth ( Rowena) Sibley, Meaghers Grant. <br> <br>David was predeceased by his parents, Edward & Edna Duggan; brother, George Duggan; step-brother, Rodney Sibley. <br> <br>Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in the Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home (902-798-2232),194 King Street, Windsor. <br> <br>Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2016 in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Garnet Parker officiating. Interment will be in the Ste.
