Lim Lacuesta - age 74, of Windsor/Halifax, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, in New York City, New York. <br> <br>Born on January 25, 1942 in Baguio City, Philippines, she was the oldest child of the late Purificacion and Armando Lim, and raised by Angelina and Rodrigo Geronimo. <br> <br>After graduating from Dental School in Manila, Philippines she immigrated to the USA, via New York City, to join her husband, the late Dr. Rogelio Lacuesta (Roger). She then immigrated to NL where she lived and raised her family for 20 years. In 1990, she moved to Windsor, NS and then in 2008 moved to Halifax. She was a dedicated wife, full time mother of 3 daughters, a grandmother of 1 granddaughter, a part time piano teacher, and a support and manager in her husband’s medical office. She was a woman of strong faith active in her church, who enjoyed taking care of others and being of service, though her family was always her main focus and priority. Her passions were cooking, playing the piano, growing her orchids, travelling, shopping, talking to her friends and family, and taking care of her beloved granddaughter. <br> <br>Annie is survived by her 3 daughters, Dr. Marivi Lacuesta, DC, St. John’s, NL; Dr. Gina Lacuesta (Devo), Halifax; Tricia Lacuesta (John), Vancouver, BC; granddaughter, Pia Lacuesta, Halifax; sibling, Cora Cabellon (Oscar) San Diego, CA; nephew, Alex Cabellon, San Diego, CA; niece, Susan Alcantara (Nolan), Baltimore, MD; and step-siblings, cousins, and extended family in the Philippines. <br> <br>Visitations will be held 2-4 and 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, August 12, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home (902-798-2232), 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, B0N 2T0. <br> <br>Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m Saturday, August 13, 2016, at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 339 King Street, Windsor, with Rev. Fr. Craig Cameron celebrant. Cremation will follow, with a private family committal at Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor, at a later date. <br> <br> <br></div>
