<div itemprop="description"><br>Keith Atherton Casey, age 83, of Centre Burlington, Hants County, died Thursday September 29, 2016, at Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, with his family by his side. Born on March 18, 1933, in Centre Rawdon,Hants County, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late James Cecil and Gladys (Custance) Casey. <br> <br>Keith worked for several years with Municipal Spraying and Contracting before starting Caseydale Farms together with his son, Brian. He was past president of several agricultural organizations. Keith was a member of many different choirs over the years. He was a member of Windsor United Church. Keith was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and had just received his 50 year pin. He was well known and respected in the draft horse world both as an exhibitor and a judge. <br> <br>He is survived by his wife of sixty one years, the former Rae Anthony; his children, Brian ( Janice) Casey; Wanda ( Bruce) Wood; Carole Anne Casey; grandchildren, Courtney (Ryan), Christopher ( Misty), Matthew Casey, Melanie, Ryan (Lauren), Trevor, Tyler (Chelsey), Brett ( Katie) Wood; great- grandchildren, Hunter, Sadie, Jaxon Bowland, Conner, Alexa, Ella, Ayla Wood; sister, Barbara ( Keith) McLean; brother, Michael ( May) Casey; many nieces and nephews. <br> <br>Predeceased by his stillborn son; sister, Margaret “Withrow” Woodman; brothers, Dennis and Norman. <br> <br>Visitation will be held from 3-7 pm Sunday, October 2nd, in the Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home (902-798-2232), 194 King St., Box 2218, Windsor N. S. B0N 2T0. <br> <br>Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday October 3rd, in Windsor United Church, 613 King Street, Windsor. Rev. Angus R. MacDonald officiating. <br> <br>A private family burial will be held in the Card Beach Cemetery, Centre Burlington, Hants County. <br> <br>Family flowers only. <br> <br>Donations in memory of Keith may be made to the Hants Shore Community Health Centre, Windsor United Church or charity of your choice. <br> <br>( To add your condolence click on "contribute" ). <br> <br>Keith’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the caring staff at the Valley Regional and Hants Community Hospitals. <br> <br></div>
