<div itemprop="description">ARSENAULT....... <br /> <br />Shirley Grace Arsenault, age 84, a life-long resident of Windsor, died peacefully surrounded by family on October 15, 2014, at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Halifax on November 5, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Hilda McCann. <br /> <br />Shirley was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, the Catholic Women&rsquo;s League, the Hants Community Hospital Auxiliary, Friends of Haliburton Place Society, the Haliburton Garden Club and the Breast Cancer Support Group. <br /> <br />Shirley is survived by a son, Paul (Shelley) of Shediac Cape, NB.; daughters, Andrea (Jim) Beckingham and Elizabeth (Stuart) Colborne, both of Sackville, N.S.; granddaughter, Heather (Michael) Doiron, Moncton, N.B.; grandsons, Joel (Julia) of Vancouver, B.C., Paul (Cynthia) and their children, Owen, Tyler and Evelyn of Saint-Marie-de-Kent, N.B. Shirley is also survived by sister-in-law, Marie Helene, Wellington, P.E.I.; and cousins, Betty Chaine, Ottawa, Mary (Roddy) Dorman, Halifax, Gwen McCann, Gypsum Mines and Max McCann, St. Albert, Alberta. <br /> <br />She was predeceased by her husband, Edward (1995) and son Peter (1961); cousins, Art McCann, Edie and Gordon Kerr. <br /> <br />Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. &amp; 6-8 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2014 in Lindsay&rsquo;s Windsor Funeral Home, (902-798-2232), 194 King Street, Windsor. <br /> <br />Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, October 19, 2014 in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 339 King Street, Windsor. Rev. John MacPherson officiating. A private family burial to take place at St. John&rsquo;s Catholic Church Cemetery. <br /> <br />Donations may be made to Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church or the Hants Community Hospital Auxiliary Society. <br /> <br />The family wishes to extend sincere gratitude to everyone associated with the Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion. <br /> <br />(To add your condolence click on &ldquo;contribute&rdquo; )</div>
