<div itemprop="description">SANFORD...... <br> <br>Ruth Josephine Sanford, age 73, of Falmouth, Hants County, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016, at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. <br> <br>Born on July 26, 1943, in Windsor, Hants County, Nova Scotia, Ruth was the daughter of the late Charles Lewis and Lillian Marie (Bonang) Connors. <br> <br>Ruth was a loving wife and was considered as the best cook in the country, by her best friend and husband, Art, as well as many other family and friends. <br> <br>Ruth is survived by her husband, Arthur “Art” Dimock Sanford; her sons, Darren (Sharon) MacLeod, Ashdale; Daryl (Valerie) MacLeod, Ashdale; grandchildren, Gabriel “Gabby” Myatt and Arianna Dunfield-MacLeod; stepson, Jimmie (Patti) Sanford, St. Croix; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. <br> <br>Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Clarence Medford MacLeod; a brother, Donnie Connors; and a sister, Marie Hanes. <br> <br>The family would like to thank, Dr. Cathryn Smith, and Palliative Care at the Hants Community Hospital, especially Amber Phillips for all the care they gave Ruth. <br> <br>A private visitation was held from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday, September 26, 2016, in Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home. <br> <br>A private family graveside service was held at the Ste. Croix Cemetery, Cemetery Road, St. Croix, at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2016, with the Rev.
