Born on October 16, 1930, in Windsor, Nova Scotia, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Lena (Benedict) Taylor. <br> <br>Miriam is survived by sons, Robert (Christine), Three Mile Plains; Dale (Christine), Garlands Crossing; daughter, Beverly (Wayne) Patterson, St. Croix; grandchildren, Shawn Parker, Tracey Young, Michael Patterson (Shannon Caldwell), Corey Patterson, Tamara Patterson, Jason (Tanya) Parker, Nicholas (Missy) Parker; several great grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Smith, Windsor; Joan Armstrong, Kempt Shore; Faye (Donald) Brooks, Three Mile Plains; Doreen Hunter, Windsor; brother, Ronald Taylor, Greenwood. <br> <br>Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Horace; son, Donald Parker; brothers, Danny Taylor and Garry Taylor; sister, Betty Cochrane. <br> <br>Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2017, in Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home 194 King Street, Windsor, 902-798-2232, 194 King Street, Box 2218, Windsor, NS, B0N 2T0, with Rev. Garnet Parker officiating.
