She was a bright light for many and was known for infectious laugh and her caring and generous spirit. Mary loved life and was happiest when she was doing the things she loved and with those she loved.

She was an avid bowler as well as a proud and active Red Hatter but the thing she looked forward to the most was spending time at her trailer at Ponhook Lake with her adopted summer family.

Every day with Mary was an adventure. She was fortunate enough to have been able to travel with friends and family and had one of her greatest adventures in Costa Rica.

Mary was employed at CKF Inc, Hantsport, for 32 years. She was an active member of the Lockhartville Baptist Church.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Kathleen Frank; her husband, Burnell Schofield (2010); brother, Michael Frank in infancy.

She is survived by two loving sons, Andrew (Cynthia Power) and Timothy (Brenda Ellis); her devoted grandchildren; Sara (Kim) Nichol, Kyle Schofield, Adam (Zipora) Schofield, Kristi Schofield and Ryan Schofield. She will be fondly remembered by her many brothers and sisters, Gordon (Sheila) Frank, Janet (Donald) Caldwell, Linda (Michael) Craig, Gregory Frank (Betty Leighton), Darlene (David) Matheson, Valda (Randall) McMullen, Dean (Jean) Frank, Bradford Frank and Nancy Frank; aunts, Donna DeVenney; Glenna Newcombe; Niece Dill and Jennie Keating; uncles, Fred Haley and Robert Haley; sisters-in-law, Josephine Beckwith, Mable Schofield and Kay Schofield; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Doctors and nurses of the Valley Regional Hospital and the VG Hospital (5A) for their care and support.

Although there will be no visitation, family and friends are invited to attend the graveside funeral service, which will be held at the Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2015, with the Rev. Gail Whalen-Dunn and Rev. Debra Mosher officiating. Reception to follow at the Hants Border Hall, Highway 1, Hants Border.

Memorial donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.

The funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of R.
