<div itemprop="description">Margo Louise Banks, age 68, of Lower Sackville, was delivered into the arms of her Savior with her beloved daughters by her side, on Sunday, October 23, 2016, at the Q.E. II, V.G. Site, Halifax. <br> <br>Born on April 7, 1948, in Middleton, she was the daughter of the late Willard Alexander and Marion Alberta (Hyson) Banks. <br> <br>She was a member of Stoneridge Fellowship Baptist Church, Sackville, and was formerly active in New Minas Baptist Church, serving on various committees. Margo had also been active in Barbershop singing. She will be remembered for her love for the Lord, her love of being a doodah to her grandbabies, her genuine kindness and quick wit. <br> <br>Margo is survived by her daughters, Amy (Jeff) White, Sackville; Becky (Matthew) Payzant, Sackville; grandchildren, Hannah and Benjamin White, Jacob, Elijah and Isaac Payzant; sister, Bonnie (Ralph) Campbell, Trenton, Ont.; brothers, David (Sharie) Banks, Dartmouth; Scott (Anne) Banks, Bridgetown; several nieces and nephews. <br> <br>Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Gordon Kenneth Leachman. <br> <br>Cremation has taken place under the care of Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, NS, B0N 2T0. <br> <br>A celebration of life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Stoneridge Fellowship Baptist Church, 85 Temple Terrace, Lower Sackville, with Pastor Mark Baker, Pastor Jay Maynard and Rev. Sterling Gosman officiating. <br> <br>Margo requested that everyone attending her celebration of life wear bright colors, no black please. <br> <br>Donations in memory of Margo, may be made to the Stoneridge Fellowship Baptist Church or to the Canadian Cancer Society. <br> <br>( To add your condolence click on "contribute") <br></div>
