<div itemprop="description">FORREST...... <br /> <br />Lillian Frances (nee: Brown) Forrest, age 96, of Brooklyn, Hants County, left this world as she lived her life, with grace and dignity, on Wednesday, March 19th, 2014, in the Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth. <br /> <br />Born March 5th, 1918, in Newport Corner, Hants County, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Corrine (Nelson) Brown. <br /> <br />Lillian was a lifelong member of the Newport United Church, Brooklyn, and a devoted member of the UCW. <br /> <br />She is survived by two sons, Wayne (Carol Ann) Forrest of Woodville, Hants County; and Dana (Yvonne) Forrest of Halifax; three grandchildren, Tara (David) Lothian, Corinne (Jeff) Forrest, and Becky Forrest; two great grandchildren, Forrest (Holly) Lothian and Charlotte Lothian; sister, Gwen Kehoe of Windsor Elms Village; and many nieces and nephews. <br /> <br />Besides her parents, Harry and Corrine (Nelson) Brown; Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Walter Sylvester Forrest (2008); as well as her sisters, Alice Dearman, Hazel Burgess, Dorothy Robinson, Millie Burgess and Beulah Brown (in infancy); her brothers, Frank, Minard, Owen and Burton Brown. <br /> <br />The family extends their most heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff of The Windsor Elms Village and Lillian's caregivers at home, Sharon, Lue, Ellie and Betty. Also, a very special thanks to her two nieces, Donna Mae Woodman and Shirley Phillips, who were always there for her. <br /> <br />A private family funeral service will be held at the Ste. Croix Cemetery, Cemetery Road, St Croix, Hants County, at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 8th, 2014, with Helen L.
