<div itemprop="description">COCHRANE...... <br> <br>Lillian Elizabeth “Beth” Cochrane, age 80, of 29 Cochrane Lane, Sweets Corner, Hants County, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 16, 2016, at her home, with her children by her side. <br> <br>Born in Windsor, Hants County, Nova Scotia, on July 22, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Dick and Kay (Dearman) Davis. <br> <br>Beth worked for numerous years at the Hants Community Hospital, Housekeeping Unit. <br> <br>Beth will be sadly missed by her children, Heather, Steven, and Glenn (Cathy); grandchildren, Melinda and Matt Cochrane; brother, Michael Davis (Debbie); niece, Sheila Brown-Nehiley (Bob) and their children, Ryan and Shawn; niece, Michelle (Dave) Logan and their children, Grant and Kaylee; nephew, Richard (Mistee) and son Brantley. <br> <br>Beth was devoted to her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by her “coffee buddy”, Laura and also Anne whose daily calls brought her laughter as well as support from all friends on Cochrane Lane. <br> <br>Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Reginald "Reg" Illsley Cochrane (October 30/1999); sister, Jo-Anne Brown and husband, Donnie; infant great granddaughter, Emma Cochrane; niece, Darlene Welburn. <br> <br>A special 'Thank You' to the Palliative Care Unit at Hants Community Hospital (Amber Phillips) for sharing her knowledge, care, and compassion that allowed our Mom to fulfill her wishes to remain at home with daughter, Heather caring for her. Also Dr. Leahy and Sandra who was always available to our Mom. <br> <br>In keeping with Beth’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. <br> <br>Cremation has taken place under the care of Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home. <br> <br>Donations in memory of Beth may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of Hants Community Hospital or to the Canadian Cancer Society. <br> <br>To add your condolences, click on “Contributed at, www.lindsaysfuneralhome.com <br> <br> <br></div>
