<div itemprop="description">DUGGAN...... <br /> <br />George Edward Duggan, age 77, of Lakelands, Hants County. <br /> <br />George went home to be with his Lord, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at home, surrounded by his wife, &ldquo;Tex&rdquo; and his family. <br /> <br />Born on October 31, 1937, in Tufts Cove, Halifax County, Nova Scotia and was the son of the late Eddie and Edna (Robinson) Duggan. <br /> <br />He was a self-made man, building a business from the ground floor, owning and operating Lakeland Machine and Welding for 45 years. He loved hunting and fishing with his grandsons and his best friend, Paul Steadman. He had a deep love for nature and gardening. <br /> <br />He will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, the former Mary Louise &ldquo;Tex&rdquo; MacDonald; his children, Crystal (Danny) Al-Molky, Carol (Richard) McLearn and Edward Duggan all of Lakelands; grandchildren, Michael and George Al-Molky; Terry and Lawrence Duggan; great grandchildren, Keaton Sanford, Mekhi Al-Molky and Jada Kelsey; brother, David (Margaret), Windsor; Niles (Beverly), Edmonton, Alberta; sisters, Carmel Bell, Whitby, Ontario; Faith Steadman, Bowmanville, Ontario; step-sister, Sheila Shellnut, Halifax; step-brother, Kenneth (Rowena) Sibley, Meaghers Grant; longtime friend, his little big sister, Sissy. <br /> <br />Besides his parents, Eddie and Edna (Robinson) Duggan; he was predeceased by step-brother, Rodney Sibley. <br /> <br />Special thanks to family physician and great friend Dr. Jim Leahy <br /> <br />Visitation will be held 6&ndash;8 p.m. Friday, March 13, in Lindsay&rsquo;s Windsor Funeral Home, (902-798-2232), 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, B0N 2T0). <br /> <br />Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015, in Lindsay&rsquo;s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Clarence Bungay officiating. Interment in the Ste.
