<div itemprop="description">EGGLETON...... <br /> <br /> <br />Elizabeth &ldquo;Betty&rdquo; Margaret Eggleton, age 80 of Centre Burlington, Hants County, passed away suddenly and peacefully on Monday, May 13th, 2013, at the Q.E. II, Halifax Infirmary Site, Halifax. <br /> <br />Born on January 21st, 1933, in Digby, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Hattie (Seeley) Casey. <br /> <br />Betty was a kind intelligent woman, who liked nothing better than to share a laugh with friends and family. She had a curiosity and interest in life, that allowed nothing to stop her enjoying life, from its simplest joys to its greatest adventures. Her biggest adventure was her marriage to Frederick Harvey Eggleton. After a very brief courtship, they shared each day of their 62 years together, in love, loving each other and the life they created together. <br /> <br />Betty is survived by her husband, Fred; her two daughters, Wendy (Frank) Tresidder, Castlegar, BC; Trudy (Rob) Dancer, Angus, Ont.; adopted son, Ray (Kerry) Clark, Merritt, BC; her siblings, Dorothy (Harrison) Murphy, Dartmouth; Gordon (Micheline) Casey, Texas. <br /> <br />In keeping with Betty&rsquo;s wished, there will be no services by request. <br /> <br />Arrangements are under the care of Lindsay&rsquo;s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor (902-798-2232). <br /> <br />Donations in memory of Betty, may be made to the Heart &amp; Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. <br /> <br />To add your condolences, click on Share in Guestbook at, www.lindsaysfuneralhome.com <br /> <br />&ldquo;She will be missed&rdquo; <br /></div>
