<div itemprop="description">DUNCAN...... <br> <br>Elaine Consul (Lyons) Duncan, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Wednesday January 18, 2017, in Windsor, Nova Scotia. <br> <br>Elaine is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Francis and Muriel Lyons; and sister-in-law, Shirley Lyons, Ontario; her children, Shelley Moore (Paul), Barbara Consul (Steve Kurtovic), Alberta; stepsons, William Duncan (Anne), Bradford Duncan and Jeffrey Duncan (Brenda), Nova Scotia; grandchildren, Sara, Alex, Mandy, Melanie (Steven) and Steve, Alberta.; step-grandchildren, Sarah and Christopher, Nova Scotia; great grandson, Jaxon, Alberta; nephews, Paul (Janet) and Bradley (Angie), Ontario. <br> <br>She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Duncan; parents, George and Hazel (Danford) Lyons; brother, Hugh Lyons. <br> <br>Mum was a kind, beautiful person who loved being a mother, wife and homemaker. She was the family photographer, enjoyed singing, decorating for Christmas and cranberries. She was famous for her Macaroni and Cheese – needle work was not a passion. <br> <br>Elaine worked at the V.G. Hospital from 1974 to 1987. Retiring young, she and Don moved to Cashel Lake, Ontario, they returned to New Minas, Nova Scotia in the mid 90’s. <br> <br>Sincere appreciation for the fabulous care provided to Mum at Haliburton Place, Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, Nova Scotia.
