<div itemprop="description">MAHAR...... <br> <br>Doris Pauline “Polly” Mahar, age 82, of Centre Burlington, Hants County, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on March 31, 1934 in Windsor, Hants County, Nova Scotia, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Doris (McLellan) Mann. <br> <br>Polly had worked at the Windsor Elms for over thirty-one years. She enjoyed her children and her grandchildren, and also watching the good old shows “Archie Bunker”, “Three’s Company” and “The Golden Girls”. <br> <br>Polly is survived by her children, Kathleen Lunn, Centre Burlington; Paulette (Reg) Lyon, Poplar Grove; Pamela Manning (Jamie Foley), New Minas; Valerie McCulloch, Falmouth; Gregory (Lori) Mahar, Windsor; Robin Mahar, Windsor; Randall Mahar, Centre Burlington; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Rhoda (Earl) Pineo, Upper Burlington; several nieces and nephews. <br> <br>She was predeceased by her parents, Percy and Doris Mann; husband, George (2006); brother, Paul; sister, Louise Mann. <br> <br>A family graveside service will be held 2 pm Thursday, June 30, 2016 in the Centre Burlington Cemetery, Highway 215, Centre Burlington, with the Rev. Garnet Parker officiating. <br> <br>A celebration of her life will follow in the Centre Burlington Hall, everyone is invited to come and share their memories of Polly. <br> <br>Arrangements are under the care of Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, (902-798-2232) 194 King Street, P.O.
