<div itemprop="description">HANCOCK...... <br /> <br />Daisy Bertha Hancock, age 90, of Mount Denson, Hants County passed away on Friday, February 28th, 2014, in the Halifax Infirmary, QE II, Halifax. <br /> <br />Born on February 13th, 1924, in Greenfield, Kings County, Nova Scotia, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Eva (Harvie) McInnis. <br /> <br />Daisy had worked for 34 years at CKF Inc. in Hantsport. She was a devoted mother to her family. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and making sure all her loved ones had warm mittens and socks. <br /> <br />Surviving are sons, John (Debbie) Hancock, Prince Edward Island; Jack (Nancy) Hancock, Mount Denson; daughters, Nancy (Blaine) Zinck, Sudbury, Ontario; Pauline (Ralph) Armstrong, Coldbrook; grandchildren, Doug, Clint, Cory, Kelly, Heather, Annette, Rick, David, Tony and Jennifer; several great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Hancock, Hantsport; brother, Larry McInnis, Kingston; sisters, Iona Faulkner, Hantsport; Louise Patterson, Falmouth; and Grace Millet, Canning; several nieces and nephews. <br /> <br />Predeceased by her parents, Walter and Eva McInnis; grandson, Fred Hancock; sons, Murray Hancock and Lloyd Hancock; brother, Gilbert McInnis; sisters, Leta Mayo, Beatrice Peck, Audrey Leighton, Vera Clowry and Flossie Bruce. <br /> <br />A celebration of the life of Daisy Hancock, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 5th., 2014, in the Mount Denson Community Hall, Highway 1, Mount Denson, with the Rev. Garnet Parker officiating.
