<div itemprop="description">JODREY...... <br /> <br />Clayton Beverley Jodrey, age 84, of Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. <br /> <br />Born on March 12, 1931, in Port Williams, Kings County, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Dollie (Ells) Jodrey. <br /> <br />Clayton worked with Maritime Marshland for 17 years and then in later years with Minas Basin Pulp &amp; Power Plant in St. Croix. Clayton enjoyed watching and playing all sports, hockey and rugby being his favorite. He was inducted into the Windsor Hockey Hall of fame for the first Windsor Royals Team of 1948. He also enjoyed helping friends with their Belgian horses at the exhibition and with sleigh rides. Clayton enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Windsor United Baptist Church, serving as Deacon for 2 terms, was a member of the choir and had taught Sunday school. <br /> <br />Clayton is survived by his wife of 57 years, June (Salter); son, Brad (Karen), Falmouth; grandsons, Brandon (Tara), Wile Settlement; Ben, at home; great grandchildren, Payton &amp; Ellie; brother, Wilfred (Gladys), Windsor; sister, Wava (John) Pickwell, Dykeland Lodge; neices and nephews. <br /> <br />Besides parents, Lloyd and Dollie (Ells) Jodrey; he was predeceased by brothers, John and Ross; sisters-in-law, Joyce Jodrey and Birdie Jodrey; daughter-in-law, Dena Jodrey. <br /> <br />Special thanks to the wonderful staff of Dykeland Lodge. <br /> <br />There will be no visitation by request of the family. Arrangements are under the care of Lindsay&rsquo;s Windsor Funeral Home (902-798-2232), 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, B0N 2T0. <br /> <br />Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015, in the Windsor United Baptist Church, with the Rev. Rob Heffernan officiating, assisted by the Rev. Dr. John Bartol. Interment will be held in the Maplewood Cemetery, 1186 King Street, Windsor. <br /> <br />Family flowers only.
