<div itemprop="description">ATWELL...... <br /> <br />Avery Lawson Atwell, age 77, of Falmouth, Hants Couinty, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015, at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. <br /> <br />Born on July 29, 1938, in Gaspereau, Kings County, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Clarence and Margaret (Allen) Atwell. <br /> <br />A carpenter by trade, he had worked at the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board, but his passion was farming, having farmed his whole life. <br /> <br />Avery is survived by his wife of 50 years, the former Edith Muriel Evans; his children, Wade ( Sheila), Falmouth; Keith (Theresa), Falmouth; grandchildren, Trace and Kaitlin; sister, Verna (Waldon) Coldwell, Gaspereau; brothers, Allison (Judy), Falmouth; Gordon (Rose), Dartmouth; several nieces and nephews. <br /> <br />Cremation has taken place, under the care of the R. D. Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, B0N 2T0. <br /> <br />A private family graveside committal service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 5, at the Centre Falmouth Cemetery, Town Road, Falmouth, with Rev. Garnet Parker officiating. <br /> <br />Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life reception beginning at 2 p.m. at Lindsay&rsquo;s Windsor Funeral Home, Windsor. <br /> <br />Donations in memory of Avery may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of one&rsquo;s choice. <br /> <br />To add your condolences click on Contribute. <br /> <br /> <br /></div>
