<div itemprop="description">Audrey “Audie” Illsley Lyttle <br>September 22 1926 – February 9 2017 <br> <br>Audrey Illsley “Audie” Lyttle, age 90 of Ellershouse, Hants County, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 9, 2017, at Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, with her loving family by her side. <br> <br>Born on September 22, 1926, in Newport Station, Hants County, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Earle and Daisy Belle (Rhodenizer) Fletcher. <br> <br>Audie lived her entire married life in Ellershouse, where she was involved in various Community Groups. A member of the St. Louise Union Church, Ellershouse, and had sang in the church choir for many years. <br> <br>Audie’s life was shared with her husband of 69 years, Lloyd Lyttle. They spent their life dancing as many nights as they could and showed the rest of the world how it was done. <br> <br>A professional housewife, mother, and grandmother, who took pride in looking after her family. She prepared home cooked suppers served each and every night at 5 pm sharp, and kept the house neat as could be. <br> <br>Her proudest moments were the birth of her two wonderful grandson’s Matthew and Brandon. As a grandmother she loved, protected, and cared for them, which was her greatest wish come true. <br> <br>Audie will be sadly missed by her sons, Darrell (Beverly) Lyttle, McKay Section; Stephen (Charmaine) Lyttle, Ellershouse; beloved grandsons, Matthew and Brandon Lyttle; brother, Elroy Fletcher, Amherst; sisters, Daisy Belle Taylor, Hillsborough, NB; Georgie (Jack) Walsh, Berwick; special “son and daughter” Bob and Betty Williams; several nieces and nephews. <br> <br>Besides her parents and her husband Lloyd (2015); she was predeceased by her sisters, Esther Fownes, Marjorie LeBlanc, and Muriel Boyd; brothers, Earle and Laurie. <br> <br>The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff of the Blenkhorne Center, Dykeland Lodge, for their great care and compassion, especially Bonnie Brown. <br> <br>Visitation will take place at 1 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2017, both in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, (902-798-2232), 194 King St., P.0.Box 2218, Windsor, B0N 2T0, with Rev. Krista Anderson officiating, followed by a reception at the Ellershouse Community Hall.
