<div itemprop="description"> <b> <u> SHEEHY <br /> <br /> <br /> </u> </b> <b> Anne Marie Sheehy, </b> 80, of Windsor, passed away on Wednesday, March 6th, 2013, at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. <br /> <br /> Born on September 14th, 1932, in Windsor, Hants County, Nova Scotia, Anne was the daughter of the late Joseph &ldquo;Joe&rdquo; and Anne &ldquo;Annie&rdquo; (Hayes) Dill. <br /> <br /> Anne was employed for many years at Windsor Regional High School, retiring in 1990. She had formerly worked at David Allbon&rsquo;s Printing Co., Windsor.&nbsp;She was an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan, enjoyed doing cryptograms and crossword puzzles. Anne especially loved spending time with her family, camping and the great times at the cottage. Mom was the Queen of Haliburton Place, where she enjoyed her bench buddies, participating in all the activities and keeping everyone on the straight and narrow. <br /> <br /> Anne, is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ellis &ldquo;Etch&rdquo; C. Sheehy; sons, Steve (Trudy) Sheehy, Windsor;&nbsp;Michael (Kathy) Sheehy, Windsor; and&nbsp;David &ldquo;Homer&rdquo; (Linda) Sheehy,&nbsp;Windsor; daughters, Beth (Robert) Sanford, Mount Denson; Nancy (Jeff) Bezanson, Windsor; Sue Sheehy (Garey Pridham), Windsor; son-in-law, Greg Jessop, Windsor; 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; brothers, Joey (Niece) Dill, Windsor; David (Marie) Dill, Windsor; sisters, Barbara MacKay, Brooklyn; Ruthie (Tom) Davis, Windsor; brother-in-law, Alex MacAskill, Berwick; several nieces and nephews. <br /> <br /> Besides her parents, Joseph &ldquo;Joe&rdquo; Arthur Dill&nbsp;and Gwendolyn Anne &ldquo;Annie&rdquo; (Hayes) Dill; &nbsp;Anne was predeceased by a daughter, Rose Jessop; brother, Arnold Dill; sisters, Keenie Boyd and husband, Clarence; also Helen &ldquo;Honey&rdquo; MacAskill; brother-in-law, Jim MacKay. <br /> <br /> The family would like to say a special thanks to all the staff at Haliburton Place, Dr. Cal Kilcollins, for the great care and love shown to our Mom. &ldquo;Thank You&rdquo;. <br /> <br /> Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. Saturday, March 9th, in Lindsay&rsquo;s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor (902-798-2232). <br /> <br /> Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 10th, 2013, in Lindsay&rsquo;s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Craig Faulkner officiating. A private family committal will be held at Maplewood Cemetery, King Street, Windsor. <br /> <br /> Family flowers only.
