<div itemprop="description">ARCHIBALD...... <br /> <br />Aaltje &ldquo;Aly&rdquo; Archibald, age 84, of Lower Sackville, formerly of Ellershouse, Hants County, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 15th, 2013. <br /> <br />Born on July 5th, 1928, in Groningen, Holland, she was a daughter of the late Eppo and Eiltje (Bakker) Lentz. <br /> <br />Aly immigrated to Ellershouse, Nova Scotia, with her husband, Wray in 1958. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. <br /> <br />Surviving are her daughters, Luci (Rick) McNeil, Brooklyn; Elly Leduc, Sackville; sons, Hiram (Caroline), Sioux Narrows, Ontario; and Boyd, Calgary, Alberta; grandchildren, Mike (Tara Johnson) Skezas, Alabama; Lisa Lajoie (Doug Matheson), Halifax; Cindy Lindsay, Dartmouth; Tracy Lajoie (Garry Neves), Mt. Uniacke; Kailyn and Shawna Archibald, Sioux Narrows; great grandchildren, Travis and Brady Lindsay of Sackville; Jordan and Devon Keel, Mt. Uniacke; Anthony (April) Skezas, Tennessee; Jordan (Tommy Gowdy) Skezas, Tennessee; and Steven Skezas, Alabama; great-great grandchildren, Arissa and Curtis Skezas. <br /> <br />Predeceased by her first husband, Thomas Pruim; daughter, Maartje Pruim; second husband, Wray G. Archibald; brothers, Erik and John; sisters, Tina and Jantje. <br /> <br />There will be no visitation by request. <br /> <br />Memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, May 27th, 2013, in St. Louse Union Church, Ellershouse, with the Rev. Wendy Keen officiating. Interment will be in the Oakhill Cemetery, Ellershouse. <br /> <br />Family flowers only. <br /> <br />Donations in memory may be made to Ronald MacDonald House, Oakhill Cemetery or a charity of your choice. <br /> <br />(To Add Your Condolence click on &ldquo;Share&rdquo; in Guest Book.) <br /></div>
